Community

The team at Terminus Contract Hire know how important it is for businesses to give back to the community. We try to help out when we can, if you’d like to be involved too, just follow the links below.

We were drawn to Lench’s Trust because they focus on building bridges in the community and we see that as an important role to fulfil.

They’re doing some wonderful work providing affordable sheltered housing for older people in Birmingham and we loved the story behind the Trust. It was conceived by William Lench in 1525, who left his wealth in the hands of 12 friends, to be used for works of charity. They provided support and care to those in need and the Trust has grown into an important help to the elderly today.

kaurageous-logoKaurageous

Kaurageous was launched to unite Sikh women everywhere. The charity wanted to give them a place to come together with thoughts, ideas, and discussions to raise spiritual awareness and to highlight issues within society for Sikh women today. When we learned about Kaurageous and what they do, we wanted to know more. We were impressed with the kindness we saw, Sikh women supporting one another and maintaining a sisterhood.

saca-logoSACA

SACA is a 100% volunteer group who organise yearly bike-ride challenges to raise money for a different children’s charity each year. They’ve raised over £220,000 for a number of different children’s charity groups such as Barnado’s, NSPCC, Contact a Family, dEBra, Down Syndrome Research Foundation, Scope, Whizz Kidz and Children with Leukeamia.

We wholeheartedly support their aims and commitment to help children from all walks of life. They spend months planning, spreading the word and training for the event which has grown each year in both support and riders.
